Biometrics Firm Evive Corporation Finds Solution to Capital and Strategic Direction.

Evive Corporation, a leading provider of biometric access security solutions, announced today that it has successfully secured capital funding from its existing Pacific Rim private investors, the Company's second successful round of capital raised in as many years. New funding will be used to support the Company's acquisition and growth strategy, which capitalizes on the fragmented but rapidly emerging biometric physical security industry.

Evive's plans include the acquisition of well managed firms which fit the strategic plans the Company has refined over the past year. To assist in the execution of this strategy Evive has engaged Focus Enterprises (www.focusenterprises.com), a leading investment banking and corporate development consulting firm, serving technology and hi-growth companies. Focus Enterprises has served public and private companies across the U.S. from its Washington, D.C. base since 1981.

Mr. Szumilas has over twenty-five years of sales, marketing and finance experience in a variety of new technologies and start-up ventures. Most recently, Mr. Szumilas was at ARINC, Inc. a $600 million Annapolis, MD-based communications and engineering firm. Throughout his career, Mr. Szumilas has championed the worldwide launch of a variety of new products and services while engaging strategic alliance relationships with their vendors. Mr. Szumilas began his extensive career in finance and marketing with increasing levels of responsibility at Gillette, Pillsbury, PepsiCo and USWest and holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and an MBA from Babson College.
