Biometric specialist wins award.

TECHNOLOGY specialist Human Recognition Systems (HRS hrs abbr (= hours) → h

hrs abbr (= hours) → Std.
) has been honoured by international consultancy Frost and Sullivan.

HRS, of Liverpool Science Park, specialises in biometric security technology.

It won Frost and Sullivan's Customer Value Leadership of the Year Award in honour of its "outstanding achievement and superior performance".

Chief executive Neil Norman said he started the firm with a view to being recognised as an innovator in biometrics.

"Receiving the Frost and Sullivan Award A Sullivan Award may refer to:
  • Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award or Mary Mildred Sullivan Award; awarded at 29-grantee institutions of the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Foundation.
not only reinforces that belief, but also recognises the pride and passion my team have put into our project," he said.
