Biometric Imaging Names New Board Member Dale A. Smith.


MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BW HealthWire)--June 11, 1997--Biometric Imaging, Inc. announced that Dale A. Smith has joined the company's Board of Directors effective June 11, 1997.

Mr. Smith served as a Group Vice President for Baxter International Baxter International Inc. (NYSE: BAX), is a global healthcare company with 48,000 employees and 2006 sales of US$10.4 billion. Its headquarters is in Deerfield, Illinois.  from 1979 until his retirement in July, 1995. During his time at Baxter he was responsible for the Biotechnology Group, the Parenterals Division and various corporate research groups including their European Research Center in Nivelles, Belgium.

His experience in the healthcare industry, in particular blood services, will be of great value to Biometric Imaging.
