The program is designed to educate physicians before they treat patients in combat, and also to serve as a guide as patients arrive for care in a battlefield situation.

It is not a tutorial for doctors. The idea is to use it to launch right away into diagnosing and treating in the unlikely event of a Bio-terrorism activity. Physicians are guided through patient evaluation using a "virtual body" that prompts the user for signs and symptoms and helps to narrow down possible causative caus·a·tive

This training is being offered using a variety of media including CD/DVD-ROM, hand-held devices, laptop and wearable computers See body-worn computer.  with voice recognition and wireless connectivity. The objective is to provide the program anywhere and anytime.

This is an ideal training program for use by civilian physicians and hospitals with minimal adaptations. Currently the civilian doctors, hospitals and health agencies are unprepared to respond to Biological, Chemical, and Radiological terrorism.
