PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 3, 1996--Following is biographical information regarding Leonard J. Pieroni, chairman and chief executive officer of The Parsons Corp. -0-
Leonard J. Pieroni has more than 30 years of experience in
management, business development, marketing, sales, operations, and
technology functions associated with the international engineering
and construction industry.


EDUCATION
M.S., Chemical Engineering, 1961, Northwestern University,
B.S., Chemical Engineering, 1960, University of Notre Dame.  Executive
Program, 1981, Stanford University.  Member, Tau Beta Pi, American
Institute of Chemical Engineers.


EXPERIENCE -- THE PARSONS CORP.


Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since May 1990.


Executive Vice President, Director of Corporate Planning, 1989 to 1990.
Responsible for directing all strategic planning activities for the
corporation, including the identification of new markets and
technology, potential acquisitions, investments and project
development opportunities.


Senior Vice President, Director of Business Development, 1988 to 1989.
Responsible for coordinating business development plans and sales
strategies of the operating subsidiaries, preparing strategic plans
for the corporation, and developing policies and procedures to
optimize the effectiveness of offices serving multiple operating
units.


President and General Manager, Chas. T. Main Inc., 1985 to 1988.
Responsible for all aspects of this wholly owned subsidiary of The
Parsons Corp.  Primary areas served include the electric utility,
environmental, pulp and paper, industrial and government markets.


Managing Director, The Ralph M. Parsons Co. Ltd., London, 1984 to
1985.  Responsible for this international operating subsidiary of
The Ralph M. Parsons Co.  Primary industries served include
petroleum refining, chemicals and gas processing, with geographical
market responsibility for Western Europe and the Middle East.


President, S.I.P. Engineering Inc., 1983 to 1984.  Responsible for
all aspects of the operations of this wholly owned subsidiary of The
Parsons Corp.  Primary areas served include the chemical,
petrochemical and refinery industries on the U.S. Gulf Coast.


Vice President of Business Development, The Ralph M. Parsons Co.,
1978 to 1983.  Responsible for sales, marketing and precontract
activities for the Petroleum & Chemical Division.


Business Development Representative, The Ralph M. Parsons Co., 1972
to 1977.  Responsible for Petroleum & Chemical Division sales
activities in the Western Region.


In addition to his career at Parsons, Pieroni has served in various
other positions of technical and marketing responsibility in the
engineering and construction business, including approximately 10
years with the M.W. Kellogg Co., where he was engaged in basic
process development and process design activities in the petroleum
and chemical field.


Pieroni and his wife Marilyn have two children -- son Len, a
mechanical engineer, and a married daughter, Vicki.  Pieroni is on
the board of directors of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce
and the executive board of the San Gabriel Valley Chapter of the Boy
Scouts of America.  He enjoys outdoor activities that include
boating, fishing, snow skiing and golf.
