:BIOF) announced today the completion of negotiations to acquire a minority interest in two additional private companies that will file to become publicly traded. These two companies are in addition to the two that were announced on August 11, 2003.

The four companies include (a) an organ transplant organ transplant: see transplantation, medical.  preservation company, (b) a supplier of goods and services In economics, economic output is divided into physical goods and intangible services. Consumption of goods and services is assumed to produce utility (unless the "good" is a "bad"). It is often used when referring to a Goods and Services Tax.  to the major home improvement companies, (c) a high-end high-end

 automobile leasing company, and (d) an electronic music distribution company. None of the four requires financial assistance from BIOF.

The obtaining by BIOF of the four minority positions is pursuant to the registration by BIOF under Section 54 of the Investment Company Act of 1940. BIOF will be permitted to carry such investments at their respective market values once they become publicly traded. Each of the two new acquisitions will file its own Registration Statement under the 1933 Act as soon as its required SB-2 information is available. The registration of the BIOF shares will permit the distribution of a certain number thereof to the BIOF shareholders as a dividend.
