) today announced that it has raised an additional $3.5 million through the sale of common stock to institutional investors as part of a participation rights closing. Participants in the offering, including Perseus-Soros Biopharmaceutical Fund, Orbimed Advisors, DWS DWS Dallas Wind Symphony (Dallas, TX)
DWS Department of Workforce Services (Wyoming)
DWS Division of Workforce Solutions (Wisconsin)
DWS Driving While Suspended
 Investments and Scudder Global Biotechnology Fund, also received warrants to purchase common stock consistent with investors in the first closing of this transaction. SCO (The SCO Group, Lindon, UT, www.sco.com) A leading vendor of Unix operating systems for the x86 platform. SCO had also offered Linux, but abandoned the line in the spring of 2003. The SCO Group is the combination of two companies: Utah-based Caldera, Inc.  Securities LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.

The first portion of the financing closed on March 22, 2004 and the Company received net cash proceeds of approximately $12.8 million. The remaining balance of cash proceeds was contingent upon the level of participation by holders of the Company's Series A preferred stock Stock shares that have preferential rights to dividends or to amounts distributable on liquidation, or to both, ahead of common shareholders.

Preferred stock is given preference over common stock. Holders of preferred stock receive dividends at a fixed annual rate.
