Bioenergy show will be held at Stoneleigh.


THOUSANDS more visitors are expected to flock to Stoneleigh Park this year after bosses agreed to a major green-energy exhibition.

The European Bioenergy Expo and Conference (EBEC EBEC East Bay Educational Collaborative ) is moving to the national agricultural hub after three years at the Newark Showground showground nferial m; real m (de la feria)

Up to 10,000 visitors are expected over three days - from Thursday, October 8 to Saturday, 10.

The show will promote cleaner, energy sources, with such fuels as biodiesel, biogas bi·o·gas

Up to 300 stands will be available at a lower price to encourage the industry to converge.

The event will mark the start of a partnership with the Renewable Energy Association (REA), which will run its annual bioenergy conference alongside.

Richard Price, managing director of Biofuels Media, said: "Our vision for EBEC is to make this the Bioenergy event of the year.

"Visitors, conference attendees and exhibitors across the whole bioenergy sector can learn about the latest market innovations, trends, future projections and legislation environments all in one place."
