Bioconnect Receives $423,000 of New Purchase Orders.

RF Industries Now Listed and Trading on the NASDAQ Global Market Exchange

SAN DIEGO -- RF INDUSTRIES, LTD. (NASDAQ:RFIL) today announced that its Bioconnect division has received new purchase orders for $423,000, consisting of a $247,000 contract from a major customer for a complex 24-lead connector and a separate $176,000 contract from a new customer for a single lead product utilizing a female DIN connector.

RF Industries also announced that its common stock commenced trading yesterday on the NASDAQ Global Market. "RFI's 15 years of consecutive profitability and exemplary balance sheet have enabled it to meet listing requirements and commence trading on NASDAQ's Global Market, a premier exchange for financially strong NASDAQ companies," said Howard Hill, RFI's CEO.

"With these new contracts, Bioconnect is back on-track for strong sales growth. The first contract is significant, providing a six month, longer-term product delivery schedule for one of our most important customers. In addition to these orders, Bioconnect also designed, and is currently qualifying, three new connector products for delivery to this same customer in the second half of fiscal 2008. The second contract brings to Bioconnect an important new customer with which we hope to develop a long-term relationship," said George Marks, General Manager, Bioconnect Division.

Bioconnect's sales for the first five months of fiscal 2008 exceed total sales for the first half of fiscal 2007. "These contracts, coupled with Aviel's recent receipt of a new contract from a major national defense supplier, have raised RFI's total March 31, 2008 backlog. We anticipate a stronger second half, based on this backlog and opportunities for growth in RFI's other business segments," said Hill.
