CHARLESTOWN, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 10, 2002

-BioTransplant Incorporated (Nasdaq: BTRN) announced today that its presentation at the BIO 2002 International Biotechnology Convention & Exhibition will be webcast live. Elliot Lebowitz, Ph.D., CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of BioTransplant, will provide an overview of the Company.

The presentation will be delivered at 10:15 AM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at the Metro Toronto Conference Center in Toronto, Ontario. The webcast can be accessed live via the BioTransplant website at www.biotransplant.com.
