ROCKLAND, Mass. -- BioSphere Medical, Inc. (NASDAQ: BSMD) ("BioSphere") - a medical device company that has pioneered the use of bioengineered microspheres to treat uterine fibroids, hypervascularized tumors and vascular malformations by a minimally invasive, image-guided medical procedure called embolotherapy - announced today that Richard Faleschini, its president and chief executive officer, is scheduled to present at the Rodman & Renshaw 11th Annual Healthcare Conference on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 11:15 a.m. Eastern time. The conference will be held at the New York Palace Hotel in New York City.
