BioSafe names Prins recycling general manager as vice president of corporate development.

) in 1994 as general manager of Prins' materials recycling facility in Charleston, Mass. Motzkin was responsible for establishing comprehensive recycling programs for communities as well as developing contractual relationships with waste haulers and recyclers throughout the region. Motzkin will resign from Prins effective July 31, 1996.

Motzkin joined J. Motzkin & Sons, a family-operated solid waste business, in 1960. He became CEO in 1983 and served in that capacity until 1990, when the company was purchased by Laidlaw Waste Systems, a subsidiary of Laidlaw Inc. (NYSE NYSE
