BioQuest Technologies Board of Directors to Retire 250 Million Shares of Common Stock.

Retired Stock Would Dramatically Reduce the Number of Outstanding Shares and Increase Shareholder Value

JUPITER, Fla. -- BioQuest Technologies, Inc., (Pink Sheets:BQTG), a leading developer of innovative, environmentally safe antimicrobial products, today announced that its Board of Directors has called a special session for Monday, July 2nd where they will formally convene to discuss the immediate cancellation of 250 million shares of common stock. If approved, common stock will be retired back into treasury and subsequently reduce the total number of BQTG's outstanding shares.

The retirement of stock back into treasury will come strictly from the stock held by insiders of the company not shareholders. As previously stated, it is the belief of the management of BioQuest Technologies that retiring currently issued stock back into treasury will have the effect of decreasing the number of shares outstanding, which in turn increases non-affiliate shareholder value.
