TriStar brings the power of high throughput tissue analysis to
significantly facilitate and accelerate in situ target discovery and
validation.

We have one of the world's largest repositories of human cancer
Tissue Micro Arrays (TMAs) and work with leading research based
Pharmaceutical companies in three important phases of drug
development:

(a) Determining the prevalence of target gene alterations in one or
    several cancer types.

(b) Developing predictive methods to identify those patients with the
highest likelihood of benefiting from a new therapy.

(c) Screening tissues from clinical study patients for subsequent
molecular analyses to be able to retrospectively identify
    predictive molecular markers.

Dr. Guido Sauter, Director of the Institute of Pathology at the
University of Hamburg, leads our scientific team. Dr Sauter has been
working with therapeutic target genes since 1993 when he was the first
pathologist to use HER2 FISH probes.

Our multi tumor arrays enable the screening of 10 -- 50 samples
each from 120 human cancers for the expression of novel targets,
providing valuable IP for the development of both small molecule as
well as antibody therapeutics. TriStar cancer specific arrays have up
to 2200 donor specimens supported by raw and tumor-specific survival
information.

We now offer formalin fixed / frozen tissue arrays, tissue
sections, RNA, DNA and Serum for research in the areas of Oncology,
CNS, Autoimmune, and Cardiovascular disease.
