BioLase Technology Reports Record Sales.


SAN CLEMENTE San Clemente (săn klĭmĕn`tē), city (1990 pop. 41,100), Orange co., S Calif., on the Pacific coast; inc. 1928. Camp Pendleton, a large U.S. marine base, adjoins the city, which is chiefly residential. , Calif.--(BW HealthWire)--Jan. 22, 1999--BioLase Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq:BLTI BLTI Blonder Tongue Laboratories, Inc. ) today reported its highest sales ever in a single month.

Sales for December December: see month.  1998 were a record $777,097. This represents a dramatic increase over sales for October October: see month.  and November. Total fourth quarter sales for the three months ended December 31, 1998 were $879,019.

"The record sales represent a turning point for BioLase. We believe this demonstrates market demand for our technologically and clinically superior products," remarked Jeffrey W. Jones, president and chief executive officer of BioLase. Jones further explained, "the sales were well distributed domestically and internationally, showing world wide recognition of BioLase's patented Hydrokinetic hydrokinetic /hy·dro·ki·net·ic/ (hi?dro-ki-net´ik) relating to movement of water or other fluid, as in a whirlpool bath.
