Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , Dr. Eric Henderson, said, "The Company's unique NanoArrayer System gives scientists a new and fundamental tool to enable further advances in nanotechnology. You have to have a ball bearing before you can build a automobile, and you have to have a NanoArrayer before you can build a nanobot (robotics) nanobot - /nan"oh-bot/ A robot of microscopic proportions, presumably built by means of nanotechnology. As yet, only used informally (and speculatively!). Also called a "nanoagent". ."

These funds will allow BioForce to create high value employment opportunities, and retain existing jobs at their facilities in Ames. Ames comes close to defining what State leaders tout as Iowa's "new economy" with emerging growth companies, stable government employers, and strong manufacturing companies. "This type of State support helps in our efforts to keep pace with the explosive growth of nanotechnology elsewhere in the USA and abroad," says Henderson.
