College of the Redwoods campus regarding the SWOMI SWOMI Seamless Wireless Omnidirectional Mobile Internet high speed wireless internet service. Beachaccess representatives accepted an invitation from CR's President to visit the campus during their upcoming trip to California and to explore the possibility of including the two-year college in campus pilot project. The campus expansion initiative was proposed as part of Beachaccess Corporation's plan to expand the marketing of the SWOMI system and is targeted to explore the potential that this technology may hold in providing internet connectivity to the faculty, staff, and students of colleges and universities throughout the country. Meetings between the Beachaccess site development team and College of the Redwood administrators are scheduled to take place on August 21, 2000.
