Prior to his appointment, Mr. Legault was the Company's Senior Vice President, Finance, Administration and Treasurer. In his new function, he assumes specific responsibility for BioChem Pharma's portfolio of strategic investments and for the Company's diagnostics sector. The presidents of the Company's drug subsidiary, BioChem Therapeutic, and of its vaccines subsidiary, BioChem Vaccines, will continue to report directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer, BioChem Pharma.
