Ms. Dupre, age 35, is an experienced pharmaceutical industry executive who has held positions of increasing responsibility at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), most recently as Director of Hospital Commercial Activities, France. In this post, she was responsible for developing the commercial strategy for all of GSK France's hospital products as well as for negotiations with the hospitals. Prior to this position, she was Marketing Strategy Director - HIV, Europe, responsible for GSK HIV programs, and in particular for the launch of Telzir(R) (antiprotease) throughout the EU. Earlier, she was Product Manager, France, and launched Relenza(R), an innovative antiviral for treatment of type A and B influenza. Previously, she held product marketing positions at Bristol-Myers-Squibb in virology, where she was in charge of two nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs) Zerit(R) and Videx(R) for treatment of HIV, and at Bayer Pharma, where she was involved with the launch of Glucor(R) for treatment of diabetes.

Ms Dupre holds a research degree (DEA DEA - Data Encryption Algorithm ) in Immunology and Toxicology from the Pasteur Institute and Necker Hospital and a Masters Degree in Biology and Biochemistry from the Ecole Normale Superieure (body) Ecole Normale Superieure - (ENS) A higher education and research institution in Paris, France.  - Ulm. She also holds a Masters Degree in Marketing and Management from ESSEC ESSEC École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales (French business school) , the French business school.

A second product, acyclovir acyclovir /acy·clo·vir/ (a-si´klo-ver) a synthetic purine nucleoside with selective activity against herpes simplex virus; used as the base or the sodium salt in the treatment of genital and mucocutaneous herpesvirus infections.  Lauriad(R), for the treatment of oral herpes, has completed a Phase I clinical trial Noun 1. phase I clinical trial - a clinical trial on a few persons to determine the safety of a new drug or invasive medical device; for drugs, dosage or toxicity limits should be obtained
