Syngas (from synthesis gas) is the name given to a gas mixture that contains varying amounts of carbon monoxide and hydrogen generated by the gasification of a carbon containing fuel to a gaseous product with that can used for heating and in vehicles. An eventually commercial operation could take shape. "EnQuest Power is excited for the opportunity to test our clean air system for converting energy from waste," said company president Jason Zwierschke in a statement. "We appreciate the support we received from provincial and municipal officials who share our goal of contributing to Clean Air initiatives through developing modern methods of waste disposal.
