Bio-Reference Laboratories, Inc (NASDAQ: BRLI - news), announced a contract with the NDC Health Information Services division of National Data Corporation (NYSE: NDC). Under the terms of the contract, CareEvolve.com, BRLI's e-Health connectivity portal, will provide subscribing members the full suite of NDC's breakthrough Web-based electronic payer enrollment, claims submission, remittance advice, eligibility verification and patient statement services, in addition to the extensive suite of services already being offered, including secure messaging, prescription services, lab reporting, financial services and others.

NDC maintains that it has the world's largest independent health care value-added network serving more than 90 percent of the nation's pharmacies, more than 20 percent of the nation's hospitals, over 1,000 payers and most leading pharmaceutical manufacturers. NDC also has the largest number of installed Microsoft Windows(R)-based practice management systems in the physician market.
