Chesterton was forced to close down its English operations a few weeks ago. When asked whether this was the reason for the change, Binswanger responded, "This change has been underway for over a year. We have been working hard and had already established new offices in Europe, as well as augmented operations in Asia. Simultaneously with this announcement, Binswanger launched a new web site (www.binswanger.com) designed to give its clients better access to the group's information base. "Project Connect," which allows Binswanger's clients to manage work effectively across geographies, cultures and time zones has also been greatly enhanced.

Binswanger also announced a real estate technological first, "Binswanger Available." This internal system allows Binswanger's professionals to access information on any property or project Binswanger has been or is currently involved in.
