Binswanger/CBB Negotiates Sale of Major Property in Elizabethtown, KY.

Representing Superior Telecommunications, Inc., Binswanger/CBB recently arranged the sale of a 193,000 square foot building on 43 acres to AGI Incorporated. The property is located at 1300 West Park Road in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Sale price was $3,100,000.

AGI Incorporated, a subsidiary of MeadWestvaco Corporation, purchased the facility and is going to manufacture CD cases at the site. Headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, MeadWestvaco Corporation is a leading global producer of packaging, coated and specialty papers, consumer and office products, and specialty chemicals. The company produces products to serve the automotive, beverage, consumer products, healthcare, media and entertainment, and publishing industries.

The seller, Superior Telecommunications Inc., disposed of the Elizabethtown property as part of a companywide consolidation. Superior Telecom Inc. is the parent of Essex Group, Inc. and Superior Telecommunications Inc., which go by the marketing name of SUPERIOR ESSEX.
