Binding firm opens a new book at Penn Plaza location.

Binding Products, the fastest-growing manufacturer and distributor of presentation materials in the Northeast, has signed a 10-year lease for 10,000 s/f at 460 W. 34th St. in the Penn Plaza area, one of the city's most convenient locations for transportation.

According to Michael Kaufman and Seth Hecht, of Kaufman/Adler Realty, who represented the tenant, Binding Products needed more space to expand and moved uptown to 460 W. 34th St. because the building met the space requirements of the company and the transportation needs of customers and employees. Edward J. Hart, of 460 West 34th Street Associates, represented the landlord. Although the terms of the deal were undisclosed, asking price for the space was $21 per s/f.

460 W. 34th St. features a restored art deco lobby with attendant, new thermopane windows, concierge service, 24-hour access and security, 10 loading docks and state-of-the-art elevators.

"The new space in midtown has remarkable views along with 13-foot ceilings and two 600-ton freight elevators, which is perfect for Binding Products' business," said Kaufman. "The move will allow Binding Products' success to continue."
