The Motown Motown U.S. recording company that gave its name to the hugely popular style of soul music that it created in the 1960s. It was founded in Detroit, Mich., in 1959 by the songwriter Berry Gordy, Jr. (b. 1929). legend is set to release a new single So What The Fuss with a little help from his friends - Prince on lead guitar and backing by En Vogue. It's taken from his eagerly-anticipated CD, A Time To Love - his first studio album since 1995. Stevie said: 'The album is a statement within itself. There's been a time for war, hurt and break down. More than ever we need a time to love.' |
