Billion Electric unveils new 3G broadband router.

Billion Electric Co Ltd, a network communications equipment manufacturer, has announced its latest 3G broadband router, available in new silver casing.

According to the company, the Billion BiPAC 7402GX is a fully specified 3G/ADSL2+ wireless VPN firewall router with USB USB

Type of serial bus that allows peripheral devices (disks, modems, printers, digitizers, data gloves, etc.) to be easily connected to a computer.
 2.0 port, enabling secure sharing of users' ADSL2+ office connection. In addition, it can share a 3G connection when away from the home or office, with an additional 3G USB modem.

The unit reportedly supports embedded IPSec VPN protocols, allowing users to establish up to 16 simultaneous encrypted private tunnels over the Internet. With a built-in DES/3DES VPN accelerator, it enhances IPSec VPN performance and ensures that data is transmitted securely between two or more sites.

The router is equipped with a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch to allow easy connecting of other wired-Ethernet devices. In addition, it can encode all 802.11g wireless LAN transmissions with either WEP or WPA WPA: see Work Projects Administration.
