Billboard Latin Music Awards Opens its Doors to the Public for the First Time; Telemundo and Billboard Announce Larger Venue for Magnum Event.

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 10, 2003

Latin music's most prestigious awards show will open its doors to the public for the very first time. The 2003 Billboard Latin Music Awards The Billboard Latin Music Awards grew out of the Billboard Music Awards program from Billboard Magazine, an industry publication charting the sales and radio airplay success of musical recordings. , produced and broadcast by Telemundo, will take place on May 8th, 2003 at its new venue, the Miami Arena Coordinates:   in Florida.

"As our highest rated music special, the Awards have gained tremendous popularity, reaching more than 1.8 million viewers last year. Our move to the Miami Arena will allow us to accommodate fans who want to experience the show in person," said Manuel Martinez, Executive Vice President, Programming & Productions at Telemundo.
