Bill Robinson Joins EasyLink as Vice President of Corporate Quality; Quality Management Expert Will Help Drive Best-In-Class Customer Satisfaction and Improved Profitability.

EasyLink Services Corporation (NASDAQ: EASY/EASYD), a leading global provider of services that power the exchange of information between enterprises, their trading communities and their customers, today announced that Bill Robinson has been appointed to the newly created position of Vice President of Corporate Quality, effective immediately.

In his new position, Robinson will be responsible for the overall quality management of EasyLink services, which facilitate critical business transactions such as, purchase orders, insurance claims, cargo shipping requests, credit card authorizations, customs clearances and funds transfers, among many others, for more than 20,000 companies, including over 300 of the Fortune 500. Under Robinson's leadership EasyLink will apply best practices aimed at achieving the industry "golden-standard" Six Sigma quality level to its key business processes. Such practices have been adopted by leading companies including GE, Honeywell, Motorola and many others to improve both customer satisfaction and profitability.

Most recently, Robinson served as Vice President of Quality, Reliability and Customer Satisfaction for Lucent Technologies in Murray Hill, New Jersey, where he was responsible for the overall quality management of Lucent's Data & Voice Network solutions. Previously, Robinson held several positions at Bell Labs including Quality Director for Lucent Technologies, Bell Labs. He also served as Software Director for AT&T and as R&D Department Head for AT&T Bell Labs. Robinson was also an R&D Supervisor and an Engineer for Bell Labs.

He began his career as an electronic engineer for Naval Systems Center. Robinson received a B.S.E.E. from the University of Connecticut and an M.S.E.E. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. He is also an adjunct professor at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey.
