Bill payment services are being emphasized in online demos of retail banking services, says a new report from Corporate Insight. In fact, seven of the fourteen firms profiled in the report offer distinct tours focused on this service alone. These demos generally offer specific details regarding how a bill pay transaction can be executed in addition to basic information regarding its availability. The same level of interest was not allocated to other key functions including fund transfers and self services.
