 Holdings, the holding company for AEA Investors and Aetos Capital, today announced that Bill Owens has joined the firm as Chairman and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of its new operations in China, India & Southeast Asia. In this capacity, Mr. Owens will be responsible for overseeing investment opportunities across alternative asset classes in the region. Mr. Owens will be based in Hong Kong, where the firm will establish offices this year.

Mr. Owens was Chief Executive Officer of Nortel until November 2005. He currently serves on the public boards of Daimler Chrysler A.G., Polycom, Inc., and Embarq, as well as the non-public boards of the Carnegie Corporation of New York Carnegie Corporation of New York, foundation established (1911) to administer Andrew Carnegie's remaining personal fortune for philanthropic purposes. Initially endowed with $125 million, the foundation received another $10 million from the residual estate. , the Brookings Institution Brookings Institution, at Washington, D.C.; chartered 1927 as a consolidation of the Institute for Government Research (est. 1916), the Institute of Economics (est. 1922), and the Robert S.
