Bill Naito Company Assumes Control of a One Million Square Foot Portfolio of Commercial Property.

, Ore. -- Bill Naito Company has been formed to take ownership of a substantial portion of the real estate assets of the H. Naito Corporation. A settlement agreement divided the real estate and retail assets of the H. Naito Corporation between two shareholder groups. Bill Naito Company now controls a portfolio of commercial property totaling 1.2 million square feet.

Bill Naito Company is headquartered in the former H. Naito Corporation offices in Montgomery Park. A staff of approximately 50 employees will carry on the day-to-day operation of leasing and property management. A board of directors chaired by Bill Naito's widow, Millicent "Micki" Naito, will oversee company operations. The board is at work on a long-term strategic plan for the new company.
