Bill Howard Named Executive Vice President of Marketing for Fiserv Health.

Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq: FISV) announced today that Bill Howard has been named to the newly created position of Executive Vice President of Marketing for Fiserv Health. Fiserv Health provides a full array of independent health plan management, claims processing and administration services for self-funded medical, dental, vision and disability plans.

In his new position, Howard will be responsible for developing brand and product strategies for Fiserv Health and its operating brands.

Howard, who has extensive experience in the insurance and health plan administration industry, most recently was a Principal at Mercer Human Resource Consulting, Inc. In this position, he was responsible for leading Mercer's efforts in improving health plan administration services on behalf of Mercer's clients across a broad range of health plan services. Prior to that, Howard served in a number of management positions with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Virginia, now part of Anthem, Inc.

A graduate of the University of Richmond for both his bachelor of arts and master of business administration degrees, Howard also maintains the CEBS designation sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania. Howard will be based in Richmond, Virginia.
