Seasoned International Telecom Executive Joins Fast Growing US-Asia

Mr. William Haner, former Senior Vice President, Global Network Services at Pacific Gateway Exchange (PGE), has joined oCen's management team as Vice President of Sales. Mr. Haner will be based in oCen's Los Angeles headquarters.

As Vice President of Sales, Mr. Haner is responsible for executing oCen's global expansion plan, particularly in the company's wholesale consumer, carrier and eCarrier(TM) service lines. His responsibilities will also include managing the global sales organization and developing and maintaining oCen's relationships with key channel partners.

Mr. Haner is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of expertise in the telecommunications business. He has extensive experience in international sales to carriers and commercial customers. A few of his foreign corporate and carrier customers include: KDD, Telstra, British Telecom, Cable & Wireless, Singapore Telecom and Unisource. Prior to oCen, Mr. Haner was Senior Vice President at Pacific Gateway Exchange (PGE), where he helped launch the company's International Wholesale Services and implemented a sales force that grew PGE's monthly revenues from US$3 million a month to over US$40 million per month. He was also part of the management team during the company's initial public offering process. From 1993 to 1994, Mr. Haner served in a similar position with IDB Communications Group, Inc., an international telecommunications company, which has since been acquired by WorldCom. From 1985 to 1993, Mr. Haner was a Director of Sales for TRT International, Inc., where he was responsible for international data services and implementing enhanced facsimile services.
