Bill DeLong Joins Progress Software as Vice President of Worldwide Customer Services and Operations; Former Dell Executive Reinforces Progress' Strong Commitment to Application Partner and Customers Satisfaction.

It includes a 4GL-based language and relational DBMS, but also interfaces to Oracle, SQL Server and other databases.  Division. Prior to joining Progress, DeLong was director of services for Dell's Corporate Business Group, where he was responsible for services delivery and services sales to Dell's top 2,500 corporate and global customers. While at Dell, DeLong delivered outstanding results by expanding the company's rapidly growing managed services An umbrella term for third-party monitoring and maintaining of computers, networks and software.
