Bill Bolster Named Chairman and CEO, CNBC International; Pamela Thomas-Graham Named President and CEO, CNBC.

As the next stage in the succession plan that was put in place this past February, Bill Bolster has been appointed Chairman and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization.  International and Pamela Thomas-Graham has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of CNBC.

The appointments, which are effective immediately, were made today by Bob Wright, Chairman and CEO of NBC NBC
 in full National Broadcasting Co.

As Chairman and CEO of CNBC International, reporting to Wright, Bolster will now be solely focused on driving the expansion of the CNBC franchise overseas, leading all non-U.S. efforts on behalf of CNBC. As President and CEO of CNBC, reporting to Lack, Thomas-Graham will now assume control of all CNBC domestic operations, including programming, advertising sales and the brand synergy across CNBC's TV and Internet platforms.

Since February, Bolster has been serving as Chairman and CEO of CNBC, taking on an expanded international role, and Thomas-Graham has been President and COO of CNBC, responsible for a majority of CNBC's day-to-day domestic operations. Previous to this transition, Bolster was President of CNBC and Thomas-Graham was President and CEO of CNBC.com. CNBC.com has since partnered with Microsoft's MSN (1) (MicroSoft Network) A family of Internet-based services from Microsoft, which includes a search engine, e-mail (Hotmail), instant messaging (Windows Live Messaging) and a general-purpose portal with news, information and shopping (MSN Directory).  Money to create a new site, "CNBC on MSN Money" that is expected to launch this summer.
