* At 1370 Avenue of the Americas at 56th Street, Newquant Capital Corp. has leased 7,200 SF at this 35-story steel and glass office tower. The tenant is a large Canadian Hedge fund hedge fund, in finance, a highly speculative, largely unregulated investment device. Originating in the 1950s, the funds "hedge" by offsetting "short" positions (borrowing a security and then selling it at a higher price before repaying the lender) against "long"  opening its first U.S. office with a 10-year lease. Paul Amrich, of Cushman & Wakefield, represented the landlord.

* At 1372 Broadway at 38th Street, Gardner Publications has leased 4,950 SF for an eight-year term. The pre-war Garment Center building is owned by S.L. Green. Larry Swiger represented the landlord as the in-house leasing representative. The tenant is a magazine publisher head-quartered in Cincinnati, and this is the company's first office in New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of

* At 745 Fifth Avenue at 58th Street, Think Tools, Inc. has leased 2,300 SF for a 10-year term. The Zurich-based software company has offices located throughout the world. Alane Berkowitz of RREEF Management served as the in-house leasing agent.

* At 1 Dag Hammarskjold Noun 1. Dag Hammarskjold - Swedish diplomat who greatly extended the influence of the United Nations in peacekeeping matters (1905-1961)

Arthur Draznin of Harper Lawrence was the landlord's leasing agent.
