Bikini-song man Vance dies.


SONGWRITER Paul Vance, who earned pop culture immortality with the 1960 hit song about a bashful bather, Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie 1. weenie - [on BBSes] Any of a species of luser resembling a less amusing version of BIFF that infests many BBSes. The typical weenie is a teenage boy with poor social skills travelling under a grandiose handle derived from fantasy or heavy-metal rock lyrics.  Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, has died in the US. He was 68.

The New Milford, Connecticutraised Vance died on September 6 at his home in Ormond Beach, Florida Ormond Beach is a city in Volusia County, Florida, United States. The population was 36,301 at the 2000 census. As of 2004, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 37,929.[1]. , said his wife of 32 years, Rose Leroux. He had been battling lung cancer for two years. Vance and songwriting partner Lee Pockriss also cowrote Catch a Falling Star, a No. 1 hit for Perry Como in 1958.
