Bikers Dream Launches New Models, Announces Over $3.6 Million in Dealer Orders Received At the 1999 Dealer Expo.

RIVERSIDE, Calif.--(AutomotiveWire)--Feb. 17, 1999--Bikers Dream Inc. (Nasdaq:BIKR) announced today that it had received over $3.6 million in orders for its Ultra Cycles brand of motorcycles and signed on an additional 16 new dealers at the Powersports International 1999 Dealer Expo held in Indianapolis over the Valentine's Day weekend.

During the event, which is the largest all-dealer show in the country, the Company announced the launch of three new models. The Avenger is the Company's first model built on a "rubber mount" platform, which mounts the engine and transmission to the frame using a system of rubber dampers to greatly reduce vibration from the operation of the engine and related components. The other two models, the Groundpounder ST and Jackhammer ST, are new, soft-ride versions of Ultra's hot selling rigid frame models. These new models have a rear suspension utilizing a triangular swing arm and torsion bar suspension.

Over 25 additional dealer applications received at the show are currently being evaluated."
