A BANNED driver who said he was waiting to die took police on a three-mile terror chase. Manic Michael Pascoe was doing up to 85mph in a 30mph limit, overtook two cars at the same time, almost lost control of his motorbike and rode on the wrong side of the road after turning right without signalling. Durham Crown Court was told police had to abandon the chase because it became too dangerous as Pascoe's 500cc Kawasaki neared a housing estate.
