BiggerBoat, the Entertainment Search Engine, launched today in beta mode at the influential DEMO 2006 technology conference. BiggerBoat uses patent-pending search technology to navigate the sea of entertainment available on the Internet, delivering the movies, music and related material that consumers want, in the format they need.

"Search today breaks down to two things: relevancy and advertising. We're delivering a more relevant and powerful search engine focused on entertainment and combining it with a more relevant and powerful ad network focused on entertainment," said Adam Lilling, BiggerBoat's co-founder and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. . "One size does not fit all when it comes to search, or search-related advertising. With our powerful technologies and our single-sector focus, we're ideally positioned to meet the growing needs of entertainment consumers, advertisers and partners."

BiggerBoat also introduced its proprietary advertising network, designed specifically for the needs of the entertainment industry in an era when traditional audiences and marketing approaches are becoming less and less reliable. By providing consumers with only highly relevant ads, BiggerBoat helps record labels, home-video distributors, movie studios, television networks and other advertisers in the entertainment industry to better target high-potential customers.

"New entertainment technologies and digital-delivery mechanisms are being introduced weekly," said Barbara De Lury, BiggerBoat's co-founder and chief technology officer. "Compounding the problem, content creators See content provider.  are signing exclusive distribution deals, making it more difficult for consumers to find material in the formats they need, for the devices they own. The resulting shopping-comparison grid allows a consumer to quickly and easily determine the best available purchase option.

"BiggerBoat is part of a broader industry trend toward specialization in search," said DEMO Executive Producer Chris Shipley. "The company combines a superior technology and search experience with a superior business model. This combination is great for consumers, making it easy for folks to find interesting media, and for investors and business partners who will profit from working with BiggerBoat."

In the first of several significant distribution agreements expected in coming weeks, BiggerBoat announced a partnership with All Media Guide LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.
