BigStar Announces New Board of Directors Members Jeff Soinski, CEO of Mad Dogs and Englishmen, and Daniel John Woods, CTO of CapitalThinking.com, to Join Board.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 29, 2000

BigStar Entertainment Inc. (Nasdaq:BGST BGST Bradley Gunnery Skills Test ), which runs the bigstar.com Shop-A-Tainment(TM) site and Advaya, the online direct marketing solutions company, has added two members to the company's board of directors, it was announced today by chief executive officer David Friedensohn.

Joining the board will be Jeff Soinski, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of advertising agency Mad Dogs and Englishmen, and Daniel John Woods John Woods may refer to:

Prior to joining Mad Dogs, Soinski served as president and CEO of ViroTex Corporation, an early stage pharmaceutical development company operating initially in the consumer healthcare space, which he sold to Atrix Laboratories Inc. (Nasdaq:ATRX ATRX Alpha-Thalassemia/Mental Retardation Syndrome, Nondeletion Type, X-Linked ). He has both advertising agency and client experience, having worked with such agencies as BBDO BBDO Batten, Barton, Durstine & Osborn

 and Chiat Day, as well as corporate experience in developing new products for Nabisco. A graduate of Dartmouth College, Soinski is a recipient of the American Marketing Association's New Product of the Year award.
