BigMachines Offers New Renewals Solution.

New Renewals Solution to be Demonstrated at Customer and Partner Events in San Mateo, CA

CHICAGO & SAN MATEO, Calif. -- BigMachines, Inc., the leading provider of on-demand configuration and proposal software, announced today the release of their new, efficient renewals solution, available immediately. Renewals are now offered as a solution in BigMachines 9, the company's flagship SaaS (Software as a Service) platform.

The new functionality automates the renewal of service and support contracts, ensuring that sales teams don't miss these low-hanging but very valuable revenue opportunities. Renewals can include quoting subscription annuities, software license contracts, support agreements and more. In addition, the renewal capability eliminates pricing errors and can also be used to repackage and extend agreements to ensure ongoing revenue streams. Renewal functionality integrates with leading ERP and CRM solutions (including salesforce.com and Oracle OnDemand), providing the most efficient way to quickly, accurately and cost effectively generate service renewal quotations. Features include merging renewal contracts, co-terminating end-dates, and pro-rating pricing.

"The service contract renewal functionality allowed us to decommission another application, saving us $160,000 of hard costs per year," according to Ben Doyle, Director of IT Applications, Enterasys Networks, Inc. "In addition, we can now accurately quote renewals, product and services on the same quote creating additional cross-sell and upsell opportunities."

BigMachines will highlight the new renewals solution and other product updates at two events in San Mateo, California on March 26, 2009. The first event is BigMachines' "Customer Success Forum", presented in conjunction with BigMachines customer SuccessFactors in the afternoon. This event is focused on best practices for BigMachines customers and provides the opportunity for customers to collaborate with BigMachines on product innovation. In the evening, the company is hosting their "Network for Success" event, offering existing and prospective customers an opportunity to learn and watch solutions from BigMachines, salesforce.com and EchoLane.

"With our new renewals solution, our customers can now use a single application for configuring products, delivering accurate quotes, creating professional proposals and ensuring that their service and support contracts are renewed accurately and efficiently," said Godard Abel, CEO and co-founder of BigMachines. "They can even quote renewals, product and services on the same quote creating additional cross-sell and upsell opportunities, helping sales reps to maximize their revenue."
