Switched Broadcast's Integration With Innovative Electronic Programming Guide Is Designed to Enhance the Viewer's Experience of Switched Digital Video 

LAS VEGAS -- BigBand Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:BBND), today announced that it has integrated its switched broadcast solution with TV Guide's i-Guide to enhance the viewer's experience with switched digital video. BigBand Switched Broadcast is the most widely-deployed solution of its kind, and now passes six million households.

The i-Guide integration with BigBand Switched Broadcast reduces the complexity of deployments and related operating expenses. This enables operators to provide consumers a common user experience for advanced video services including switched digital video, video-on-demand (VOD), digital video recorder (DVR) and interactive services, independent of the underlying hardware infrastructure.
