Big-spending House passes minimum wage increase, ignores deficit.


"This is the day for the people who empty the bedpans, change the bed linens, sweep the floors, and do the hardest work of America."

One of 315 in the House who voted for the increase, Representative Robert Andrews (D-N.J.) is also among those who are responsible for adding hundreds of billions to the national debt, resulting in a strained economy and government-sanctioned inflation that impacts most notably those he claims to help.
