Big thinking for BMW; Top marque's largest dealership in Scotland opens for business in specially created 'Luxury Car Village'.

SCOTLAND'S biggest BMW dealership has opened for business at the heart of Edinburgh's "Luxury Car Village", courtesy the Eastern Western Motor Group.

The flagship 50,000sq ft facility houses a huge range of new and used BMW models, and a state-of-the-art servicing and repair centre - with every support service available to keep even the most discerning owner happy.

And it's all under one roof - and a very, very big roof at that!

Situated close to Edinburgh Airport, just seconds from the motorway hub at Newbridge, the BMW showrooms are only part of the story.

For what EasternWestern have created is, in fact, a "Luxury Car Village", with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus and the Mini marques all within one park.

It's so simple, it's actually named "Luxury CarVillage", Newbridge, Edinburgh, complete with it's own website at www.luxurycarvillage.co.uk.

Tonight, the latest addition to the village is having an "open house", and more than 1000 BMW and would-be BMW owners have answered the call to come along to inspect the dealership.

Inside, they'll find light, airy showrooms revealing the entire BMW range from the One series to the M series and probably the biggest range of pre-owned Beemers in the country to choose from.

The Eastern Motor Company have spent a lot of time considering the customer's needs before they committed to such a huge investment. And, naturally, they've listened and taken on board what owners want from a dealership.

That's why they have moved lock, stock and barrel from Edinburgh's city centre to Newbridge.

It's convenient for owners and would-be owners coming from all directions. It's next door to the airport and it's on the fringes of Scotland's capital - you can't be better placed.

Apart from new and used sales, Eastern's new facility houses part sales, service centres and even car rental.

And within these "support services", the attention to detail is taken a great deal further.

For instance, there's now a "fast lane service" where busy BMW owners can book in, be given an agreed time to do the job, wait in comfort until completion and then head out the door.

And just to give an idea of Eastern's confidence in the service - if they fail to achieve the deadline for the service work requested, the job's free.

Eastern customers can also take advantage of service planning payments, making owning such a luxury car more affordable. The schemes are many and varied but with one common aim - to make motoring more economic.

For those who own older prestige BMW models, Eastern have also come up with a scheme to cater for the additional work and maintenance needed to keep an older vehicle up to scratch. They call it "Value Line Service", but essentially it's again a well-planned servicing scheme to ensure constant TLC for an older version of the marque.

For those using Edinburgh Airport, Eastern will even arrange to drop you off at departures if you plan to leave your car in for service or repair.

By the time you come back, they will also have it valeted for you as well. Now that's got to be better than a hefty airport parking charge!
