Big studio in the big Apple. (World).In a move that marks the biggest construction plan since the terrorist attacks, New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. Studio City, a $375 million project covering a 92,000-square-foot parcel of land just west of Times Square, will house 140,000 square feet of film and TV production space in a 15-story complex. They also hope to curb the exodus of filmmakers, who, once they capture certain external images, complete their films in Hollywood (and Canada, of late) due to lack of studio space.
