Big reward in drive-by killing case.


POLICE offered a pounds 20,000 reward for information today ahead of the first anniversary of the drive-by shooting drive-by shooting Public health A phenomenon in which one or more persons–commonly members of street gangs, open fire à la Al Capone from moving vehicles, often in retaliation for an alleged wrong-doing by a rival gang  of a 20-year-old man.

Ricardo Cox was shot twice by a gunman in a car as he walked along Mitcham Road in Croydon, south London South London (known colloquially as South of the River) is the area of London south of the River Thames. The gunman was in the front passenger seat and is described as a lightskinned black man, aged 18 to 20, with short Afro-style hair.

The two other men in the car are described as black.

Police said Mr Cox, who was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at hospital, had been shot twice in the upper body.

The car was found in Croydon, on December 1, having been abandoned.

Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses with a pounds 20,000 reward for anyone with information which leads to convictions.
