:BV) announces that subject to Alberta Stock Exchange approval, it will carry out a $1,200,000 non-brokered private placement.

The placement will consist of a total of 1,200,000 units at a price of $1.00 per unit. Each unit will consist of one common share and one share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle en·ti·tle

 the holder to purchase one additional common share at a price of $1.25 within a two year period. Proceeds from the sale of the units will be used as general working capital and to fund expenses related to ongoing financing negotiations.
