SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Big Sky Communications, Inc., today announced it has added several new team members to meet its growing client base of customer reference, speaking and public relations accounts.

* Rigo Chacon, Jr. Rigo has held a number of marketing and PR positions in real estate, technology, and community organizations. He also brings in-depth experience in art and graphic design to Big Sky. Rigo has worked at RPLP, Economic and Social Opportunities, Inc.; All About Kids Publishing; and Novell, Inc.

* Alyson Harris Alyson Harris is a high-tech PR and customer reference program professional with experience in media relations, customer programs, speaking and awards programs. Alyson is a skilled writer and has developed Web content, marketing newsletters, media pitches and more. As a marketing intern and IT analyst at Cisco, Alyson conducted customer surveys to maintain relationships and to verify customer satisfaction.

* Rae Harrison During her 12 years in high-tech marketing communications, Rae Harrison has managed and executed customer reference programs for a multitude of clients. She has developed customer references for success stories, slides, video testimonials, Webcasts, speaking opportunities, events, and PR for clients including Oracle Corporation, Siebel Systems, BroadVision, Veritas, Symantec Corporation, and NetApp, and has managed reference materials for Latin America and APAC.

* Kate Smith Kate Smith has experience in customer reference, PR, and speaking programs for technology companies, non-profits and the government. Before Big Sky, Kate worked with the National Steinbeck Center helping to achieve success in ticket sales for large, annual festivals. As a Legislative Aide for a California State Senator and a U.S. Congressman, Kate worked one-on-one with constituents, politicians, and business leaders. Her client experience includes Adobe, FusionOne, Fanfare, Business Objects and the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.

* Laura Thurman Laura Thurman has worked as a marketing communications professional for more than 10 years. She is experienced in managing speaking and customer reference programs and writing clearly about technology features and benefits. Laura's client experience includes Adobe, Affinity Circles, Certus Software, Financial Engines, FusionOne, Hyperion, Let's Go Learn, and WebEx.

* Maureen Welch Maureen Welch has more than 15 years experience in customer reference program management and high-technology PR. Her career spans both the agency and corporate world, and her clients have included HP, Oracle; Sun Microsystems; Yahoo! and others. Earlier in her career, Maureen worked for Sybase as a Senior PR Manager and held senior positions at Cunningham Communications and Hi-Tech Public Relations.
