Big Sky Announces Work-Over Results of Well No. 6, Karatal Field, Western Kazakhstan.

CALGARY, Alberta -- Big Sky Energy Corporation, (OTCBB:BSKO) (the "Company") announced today the work-over results of Well No. 6 in the Karatal Field, Western Kazakhstan.

Well No. 6, which is similar to the other 5 wells in the Karatal Field, was drilled and immediately abandoned in the 1960's. The Company re-entered this well and perforated the Jurassic J2 formation from 591 to 596 m . The well flowed on a 9 mm choke at a rate of 157 bopd of 32 degrees API crude oil for a period of four hours.

During the next 60 days, the Company intends to re-enter and work over offset Wells No. 1, No. 5, and No. 9, all of which have oil at surface. Based on the results of these work-overs, an acid stimulation campaign will be designed and implemented in an attempt to further enhance well in-flow performance.
